As the tension of the 2023 general election result heightens across the country, a lady identified as Elizabeth Osadebamwen has been reported dead in a bid to perform her civil electoral right.
A group on Facebook called “Igbo Kwenu” noted that the late Elizabeth went to cast her vote(Feb 25th, 2023) @ Ogheghe, Sapele road, Benin city, Edo State.
It was gathered that after voting she stayed back to monitor her vote till around 7pm, thereafter around that time, some hoodlums came to the unit and started firing.
“Unfortunately for her, one of the stray bullet met her, she was rushed to the hospital and she gave up at the hospital.
“Her last words is that even at her dying moment she still believes in Labour Party”, the group stated.
