The Chairman of Lystus Group International, Mr. Ifeanyi Calistus, has explained the reason why Igbos will remain the richest tribe in Nigeria.

He said that the recent lavishness and bastardization of Naira notes at Oba, Anambra state as well as other functions in Igbo land has a historical correlation and spiritual connotation.

“When my friend reminded me that the level of lavishness of cash and crazy exhibitionism that characterize events among the Igbo cannot happen anywhere in the world, even among the richest like Dangote, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet Adenuga, Bezos and others, I laughed hysterically and told him that none of those he mentioned had the experience the Igbos had”.

Ifeanyi, who made this known in his Instagram, added that lavishness and bastardization of cash has historical correlation and spiritual connotations.

He stated: “just few years ago, our fathers were humiliated with paltry 20 pounds and majority were not even given anything after the Nigeria/Biafra civil war.

“It was the worst state sponsored economic strangulation and annihilation against the Igbos.

“Yet out of the ashes of that degradation their children today have risen to the commanding height of the economic pinnacle of the same country that wanted them destroyed.

“Just as the Jews celebrate the feast of Passover every year to commemorate the survival and emancipation from the life of slavery and servitude, Igbos seize every opportunity to celebrate 20 pounds economic Passover by lavishing the Naira and other hard currencies to commemorate our survival”, he said.
