There is mourning all over Nigeria at the moment. No one is happy. The protesters that were killed by the soldiers were out fighting for the good of all Nigerians. Even the soldiers and policemen will benefit from the end result of the protests by the youths. But the soldiers forgot that they are also Nigerians as every citizen of the country.

They walked into the armless youths and released gunfire on them. They forgot that they are fathers also and the youths they killed are as their sons and daughters. It is pathetic as it is also sad. People have been calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to come and addressed Nigerians on the protest, he kept quiet not knowing he has another agenda for the youths.

Buhari cannot deny knowledge of the pogrom unleashed on Nigerian youths by the army. The army cannot take any action without the order of the president. So, Buhari is in complicit with the pogrom unleashed on Nigerian youths on Tuesday night. This is one of the biggest evil of Buhari’s government against Nigerians.

The whole nation went cold and there is mourning across the length and breadth of the country. The comments from Nigerians show that the people are not happy with the action of President Buhari and his soldiers. He has no fatherly heart. He would have done well to have come out and addressed the youths at the Lekki gates but rather than do that he allegedly ordered solders against poor and armless Nigerians.

Nigerians both at home and Diaspora are in mourning mood. Everyone has termed the Tuesday night a black Tuesday and so it remains. It is the day Buhari murdered the sleep of Nigerians who voted for him and brought him to power.

Nigerian army has been tagging every post on online newspaper on the massacre as fake news but Nigerians have gone beyond that. The videos are everywhere showing the moment the solders released the guns and felled Nigerian youths. It’s shameful, barbaric, annoying and internationally embarrassing.
