An American man named John Holden was left in shock after he got back home and found a bear in his kitchen with its face in a KFC can.
According to reports, the man who lives in Sierra Madre, California, found the bear eating his fried chicken leftovers on his kitchen worktop.
He was surprised since he locked his door when going out.
Speaking about the incident, John told ABC7 that he thinks it is probably more bears were tricked inside by the smell yet just one bear was left when he got back.
According to him, the mess in his home is what made him believe it was not just the one he saw that entered his home.
John also noted that although he has had a number of encounters outdoors, this was the first time a bear had entered his home.
In his words;
“I’ve actually had them bump into me a couple of times in the backyard, but definitely never in the house like that.
“That was something else and they sure made a mess of the place.”
Mr Holden likewise added that subsequent to taking his food the bears stayed in his garden for some time and he at long last got them to leave by making a loud noise.
