BREAKING: Court Sentences Former First Lady to 7 Years in Prison, And Here’s Why

By our correspondent
A man (name withheld) has taken his wife to court, claiming that his wife should compensate him with the sum of N5 million for opening a chemist shop for her.
An eye witness revealed that the man used to live peacefully with his wife in the commercial city of Onitsha before both of them started having misunderstanding since January this year.
This online medium gathered that the couple who have been believing God for fruit of womb for more than ten years are running out of patience in settling their marital issues.
Our source said that the man recently told his wife to go and take care of herself in her father’s house before both of them could live together again.
This medium gathered that the man was attributing the cause of their childlessness to his wife.
Our source said that the woman got angry and went to her elder brother’s  house who accompanied her to her husband to demand back her bride price.
An eye witness told Emerald News that the husband refused to return his wife’s dowry, instead, he dragged the issue to the court where he told the court that his wife should give him N5 million for compensation of the chemist shop he helped her to open.
Emerald News gathered that the wife also demanded that her husband should return her bride price through the court, saying that she is already sick and tired of the marriage.
In respect of the N5 million compensation her husband is demanding, the woman said she owes her husband no money as she claimed that her money in the chemist shop is bigger than her husband’s contribution.
At the time of writing this report, court has not ruled on the case.
