A woman, Mrs. Helen Ogbodo, has paid a team of police officers to fish out her husband whom she said has been on the run since three weeks.
An eye witness told Emerald News that the woman said her husband has been shying away from his responsibility as a father which she can no longer condone.
Our source said that the woman complained that she came back from holiday with her children and found out that her husband has hired another house only for himself.
According to our source, Mrs. Ogbodo who said she was already fed up with her husband’s ‘ I don’t care attitude’ wanted to go on with her life, adding that her husband must own up to his duty as a father.
This meduim gathered that the man who is a senior government officer in Delta state has been hiding from her wife and children while his three children are yet to resume school this term.
Our source said that the woman has earlier hired a court official to serve a paper to her husband concerning paying his children’s school fees but all to no avail.
Emerald News gathered that Mrs. Ogbodo now has hired police men to arrest him in his office so that he will bring money for the children’s school fees.
According to our source, Mrs. Ogbodo has been the one taking care of the house upkeep since they got married, adding that the burden has become unbearable for her because of many debts she accumulated in her strive to meet up with their feeding and children’s school fees.
Our source said that the woman has also threatened to sell the house she and her husband were building to enable her take care of her debts and her children’s feeding and school expenses.
This medium gathered that when the court official met with the man, he told them that he does not want to do anything with his wife and children.
