A married woman (name withheld) has been thrown out of her matrimonial home for owing a micro fiancé bank and her friends accumulated debt of more than N200,000.
An eye witness told Emerald News that her husband simply identified as Mr. Fidelis, a resident of Akwuebulu, Asaba in Oshimili South local government area of Delta state, was living peacefully with his wife before he found out that she was borrowing money from people secretly.
Our source said that the husband thought that his wife was using the sum of N50.000 he gave her to stock her petty foodstuff shop near their house but later found out that she also collected a loan of N60.000 from a micro fiancé bank and N125.000 from her friends to add to her shop.
Trouble reportedly burst out in the family when the wife could no longer service the debts to the extent that she locked her shop and started staying at home.
Our source said that when her husband found out her predicament and asked her why she no longer goes to shop, his wife told him that the food stuff he stocked got finished, so she decided to borrow some money on her own to continue which she can no longer service.
According to our source, the husband became furious and impatient with his wife when the people she owed stormed his house and started packing his property.
Emerald News learnt that when the husband found out the total money his wife was owing, he threw her property out of his house and told her to be ready to sign his divorce letter if she did not settle her debt within three months.
Our source said that the wife packed her belongings and went back to her father’s house leaving the husband with their three children.
