The Mayor of Urhoboland and businessman, Eshanekpe Israel, a.k.a Akpodoro, has congratulated the Group Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL Engr. Mele Gwori Kyari, on his 60 birthday anniversary, describing him as a strong pillar and a top-notch administrator piloting economy of the Nigerian state.
In his congratulatory message to the GCEO, on Wednesday, in Ughelli, Delta State, the head of the Association of Urhobo Mayoral Family noted that providence has used Kyari in immeasurable capacity to turn the nation’s fortune around for the better.
He added that under him, the NNPCL has turned a gold mine for the nation saying he removed the joint venture partner from the woods of unproductivity to productive national venture.
The NNPCL under Kyari has recorded immeasurable achievement from being a liability to national treasure now exporting refined crude to international communities without the scarcity of petroleum products in the country.
He stated that only a man who enjoys the special grace of God records such tremendous feat in a cynical environment “like ours against the wishes of the enemies within.”
He described Kyari as a humanitarian who serves humanity, exiting fellow compatriots from acute poverty and despondency.
“He has led a life of service to humanity in his active 40 years in the service of the nation. We owe God gratitude for his life in the service of our nation.”
Mele Kyari, the Mayor noted, is a blessing to his generation as he has impacted lives more than any Nigerian living, and it is only plausible that “We congratulate and celebrate this rare gift to humanity.
At 60 years, the GCEO is still in his full capacity, building a nation with his God-given ideas on the plank of excellent service delivery.
Kyari, as the GCEO has removed all the bottlenecks hindering the progress of the country’s petroleum industry, yet he’s not relenting on ensuring pronity and accountability in national service.
My palace, family, and the entire people of Nigeria are grateful for his giant stride in this national assignment.
He defeated cartels in the petroleum industry, defeated naysayers, defeated oil thieves in his strides to ensure a buoyant economy where fuel queues are now history and oil facilities safer than he met them.
He further stated that Kyari, from the blues, engaged Tantita Security Services Nig LTD, TSSNL against the stolen crude merchants and ensured a water tight security in the Nigerian waters.
Kyari at 60, Akpodoro stated, has succeeded where many of his contemporaries failed woefully setting the economy on the path of recovery.
Soon, he noted there would be a glut in the petroleum products market with a very low and affordable price in a stable economy where market forces dictate the price of products unlike in the recent past when the commodity was hugely subsidised into the pockets of the nation’s petty bourgeois.
At 60, Akpodoro further said the technocrat has carved a niche for himself as the man who stabilised the petroleum market that’s currently the pride of the nation undermining the challenges posed by the oil thieves who wheeled and dealt in stolen products and exporting same to nearby countries.
The regular sponsored protesters, the Mayor noted, have fizzled out owing to the latest progress made in the revamping of the country’s refineries in Port Harcourt, and Warri, Rivers and Delta State respectively against the predictions of naysayers.
“We celebrate this great man of vision at 60. Climbing the ladder of the club of diamond jubilee is not as easy as providence has made it for the administration who has breathed life into our economy.
We thank God for his life as we pray for longevity and good health for this legendary manager of men.
We call on all well-meaning Nigerians to join us in the celebration of this great compatriot at 60,” The Mayor stated as he appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for bringing out the best from the NNPCL boss.
