Mayor Akpodoro fires Amaechi over call for protest, says the administration he served bequeathed worst economy on Nigerians

Mayor of Urhoboland and popular Ex-militant leader in the Delta region, Eshanekpe Israel, a.k.a Akpodoro, has lambasted the former Minister of Transportation in the past administration of General Muhammadu Buhari, Mr Chibuike Amaechi over his call on the country’s youths for civil disobedience against the current administration.

The Mayor noted that Mr. Amaechi’s call for mass protest against the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is reckless, superfluous and outlandish saying it is akin to self indictment and an insult to the collective sensibilities of the Nigerian people.

The Urhobo-born ex-militant leader noted that Amaechi belonged in the kitchen cabinet and among the cabal that “held Nigeris hostage under the immediate past administration that bequeathed the worst economy on the current reformative Tinubu’s administration.

The head of the association of the Mayoral Family Crown recalled that Amaechi was one of the worst and failed minister under the past administration as he challenged him to render his stewardship as a minister for over eight years in a “poorly managed economy under his boss – General Buhari”.

He added that the former minister lacked the moral rectitude to call out Nigerian youths for protests saying the regime wherein the politician served plunged Nigeria deeper into the woods of backwardness.

According to the Mayor, who doubles as the founder of the Urhobo Youths Forum for Change, UYFC, said the economic rot the government that Amaechi served left behind is what President Tinubu is fixing and patriotic Nigerians are eternally grateful to him for his giant strides since taking over the reins of government from the inept and clueless administration that bequeathed abject poverty and despondency on Nigerians.

“Must Nigerians be insulted by those who ran aground our national economy? If the person of the former Minister of Transportation says he has no money to buy diesel, it therefore means there are no looters in Nigeria.

“He’s a former speaker, governor for eight years and Minister for over eight years yet, the man who sought automatic Presidential ticket via imposition from the president he served, in his usual deception came up to tell Nigerians how poor he has become to the extent of not being able to purchase diesel in a subtle incitement of the Nigerian public.

“The security agencies particularly the office of the National Security Adviser to the President, should beam searchlight on the activities of this unpatriotic elements who wasted Niger Delta slot in Buhari’s cabinet.

“His appointment as minister added no value to the South-South geopolitical zone nor Rivers state other than political gerrymandering. Nigerians now know the sponsors of mass protests against the reformative administration of Tinubu.

“He should be closely monitored. Amaechi is not happy over the progress of the current government and his excesses must be tamed,” Akpodoro stated while calling on Nigerian youths to discountenance calls for unpatriotic acts by failed politicians who are angry for losing in the contemporary politics.

“Amaechi should rather tell us how the economy was plundered mercilessly under Buhari. He should tell us the progress made by his ministry under the same docile regime of recklessness and insecurity.

“The former Minister should tell his All Progressives Congress, APC the roles he played with other party leaders that gave victory to Godwin Obaseki’s PDP in Edo state. We have a lot to tell him and as time goes on, we shall expose him to the world,” the Mayor stated.
