The Permanent Secretary intimated the Chairman and members of his council of the pet bottles recycling company located at Umunede and offered a partnership with the Ministry to sensitise the general public on the need to embrace cleaning of their environment and proper waste disposal which is already yielding positive results in Asaba and its environs.
On her part, the Head of Environment Department, Mrs. Kachukwu, said the local government council was already looking into the possibility of engaging more PSPs to evacuate refuse from residential homes as the eight registered PSPs within the LGA are not enough.
