Miss Football Nigeria, a beauty pageantry, launched in June 2019, with the aim of getting more support for local leagues as against foreign ones, also, with focus on entertainment and youth empowerment, paid a visit to Prince Ned Nwoko, the chancellor of Sports University, Idumuje Ugboko, and the Delta North People’s Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate, at Mount Ned, Idumuje Ugboko, Delta state, on Wednesday, 11 January, 2023.
The pageant organisation was represented by the Chairman, Moses Ebahor, and Ambassadors, Babina Michael, Kingsley Jalla, and Michael Ogedegbe.
The meeting was convened to officially invite Prince Ned Nwoko, whom the organisation has pledged so much support for, to unveil the organisation’s jersey in Abuja, on Thursday, 26 January, 2023, as well as seal a promotion and awareness deal with the first Sports University in Africa.
In his remarks, Moses Ebahor, chairman, Miss Football Nigeria organisation, commended Prince Ned, for his huge investments in the development of sports in Africa, and his efforts towards eradication of malaria in West Africa.
“As sport enthusiasts, we understand and appreciate your deliberate efforts towards sports development in Africa, by building the first ever Sports University in Africa. Creating opportunities for the young ones to maximise their potentials. We appreciate you sir.
“We look forward to seeing this place grow in terms of human capacities and social developments.” Ebahor said.
The chairman, on behalf of the organisation, declared support for Nwoko and other PDP candidates, noting that the endorsement was a unanimous decision from the organisation.
