A petty trader (name withheld) residing in Asaba, Delta State has told Emerald News that she has since on Friday withdrawn her fifty five thousand (N55.000) naira savings with her ATM card.
She said that the money which was her entire life savings was withdrawn because she did not know what Monday would be as regards the Nnamdi Kanu sit at home order.
According to her, she wanted her life savings to be in her custody in case if war broke out during the sit-at-home she would be able to put food on the table for her children.
The woman who is a single parent told Emerald News that not only her that thought of such, but her co traders also went to their banks and cashed their money while waiting for the next line of action.
Emerald News gathered that the proposed Monday sit-at-home people were not certain about the outcome but they pray that it would not turn bloody.
