The chairman of Isoko North Local Government of Delta state, Hon. (Elder) Godwin Ogorugba has made it clear that his only interest in 2027 is the re-election of governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

Ogorugba who made this declaration during an enlarged thank-you meeting with his Otibio Ward 13, following his victory and subsequent swearing-in as the chairman of the council thanked and commended the people for the overwhelming support given to him.

“I deem it fit and necessary to invite my ward people today to appreciate all of you for always standing by me. It was a challenging and tourtous journey, but God saw me through the entire process. I must also thank my brother Chief Kome Okpobor and others who stood by me from the beginning and to the end.”

Ogorugba while listing some of his administration’s achievements so far assured the people that he is committed to further advancing the MORE Agenda of “His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, at the grassroots level. Some of the projects have been completed and while others are ongoing to enhance and solidify the MORE Agenda of the Governor.”

The council chairman who declared his total support for the re-election of governor Oborevwori stated “There is no vacancy in the government house. I have no personal interest in 2027, only that of my boss the governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori. For us to be taken seriously as an ethnic nationality, we must support him for second term.

The people of Otibio Ward 13 however used the opportunity to pass a vote of confidence on the state governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
