National Sports Festival: Edo making frantic effort to overtake Delta (check medals table for 36 states)
Delta may lose the Edo championship to the host state if it does not up its game.
Edo state is rising high, attempting to beat Delta and reduce it to second.
The medal table at the close of event on Friday shows Delta is leading only in gold while Edo has overtaken the state in silver and bronze.
The table shows Delta is having 47 gold, 37 silver and 34 bronze while Edo is having 39 gold, 43 silver and 39 bronze.
Edo had beaten Bayelsa that was running second to third position, having only 27 gold, 19 silver and 22 bronze.
