Prince Ned Nwoko, the Delta North senator-elect, has felicitated with Christians especially in Nigeria as they witness another Easter season.
Nwoko, while congratulating Christians for successfully completing the Lenten season, urged them to reflect on the essence of the celebration which he noted as love and sacrifice.
He stressed that, without deep reflection on love and sacrifice, the essence of the celebration would be lost and all the activities of the Lenten season would only amount to trifling ritual.
Nwoko called on Christians to reflect on the lessons of Easter and hold on to the message of love and compassion which are the core reasons for Easter celebration.
He urged Christians to emulate the life of Jesus Christ who demonstrated love and sacrifice by laying down his life for the salvation of mankind.
Nwoko pledged that he would continue to make sacrifices for the betterment of Anioma, Delta state and Nigeria as a whole. He further reaffirmed his promise of responsive and transparent governance.
