A 23-year-old Nigerian woman has been jailed in Iglesias, Italy after she blackmailed and extorted a married Chinese man.
It was gathered that the woman in question engaged in paid sex with the Chinese man in 2018. She then filmed it without his knowledge.
The young lady later contacted him and threatened to send the clip to his wife if he did not pay up.
Out of fear of being exposed, the man paid 10,000 euros (N4million) to her.
Well, the woman was later, arrested, arraigned and convicted in a court in Cagliari, Sardinia Italy as she already had previous charges.
According to an Italian outlet, she has been sentenced to 5 years imprisonment.
The lady, who was later locked up at a facility in Uta, Sardinia, has officially begun serving her 5-year jail term.
The trial ended in 2021 and she was sentenced.
However, “the order of imprisonment for the expiation of the sentence has finally arrived,” the Italian outlet says.
