Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) and prominent Ijaw leader, High Chief Dr. Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a condolence message, Tompolo described the late former President as a principled and patriotic leader who played a significant role in Nigeria’s development during his time in office from 2015 to 2023.
“He was not driven by materialism and remained content with the blessings bestowed upon him by God,” Tompolo noted. “He sought individuals of character, goodwill, and energy to serve the nation—a quality that led to the engagement of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited in 2022 to safeguard the nation’s critical oil and gas infrastructure.”
Tompolo credited Buhari’s leadership decision as instrumental in reversing the decline in Nigeria’s oil sector, saying the country is now steadily progressing towards optimal oil production.
“Nigeria will deeply miss his contributions to the unity and peace of the nation,” he added.
Tompolo extended his heartfelt condolences to the late President’s family, associates, and the entire country, praying for the peaceful repose of his soul.
