A nine-year-old girl has burnt down a five billion Naira Ebeano supermarket in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital territory.

A close circuit television CCTV footage showed the little girl entering the supermarket and walking straight to the spot where she took the lighter, secretly ignited it, pushed it into the shelve and walked away.

While she was walking away, she looked back to observe what she had done. Fortunately and unfortunately, none of the staff saw her igniting the lighter nor suspected anything she did but very unfortunately for her, she was unaware of the CCTV watching her movement to the spot and back from the spot

A careful observation of the CCTV footage will show that she knew what she was doing. Reason being that she was able to know where the lighter was. She walked directly there, picked the lighter, ignited the fire, dropped the lighter and walked away pretentiously.

While she walked away, the fire after a while, exploded and began its destruction  Another video showed fire service officials sending their men with their vehicles to the supermarket to salvage the situation.

Later, when she was arrested, she told police investigators that she went with her mother to the supermarket but walked away from her mother to set the supermarket on fire.
