A suspected goat thief with the name Jonathan Dakup, popularly known as Tuko, has been caught in Tudun Wada area of Jos, Plateau state, while trying to make away with the goat he allegedly stole.
As reported by LIB, Tuko was caught with the alleged stolen goat in the early hours of Saturday morning, November 12, 2022, by a man in the community who spotted him struggling with a heavy sack.
When the man interrogated Tuko to know what was inside the sack, Tuko attempted to run away, the man then raised alarm which attracted the youths who finally held the suspect.
Tuko has confessed to have stolen several goats in the community and sold them to a woman who sells pepper soup, with the name Kendo.
The suspect has been handed over to the state Police, for further investigations.
