Now that Senator Ned Nwoko has won all legal battles

Senator Ned Nwoko representing Delta North in the national assembly has finally won all legal battles. Wednesday the 1st day of November 2023 marked a watershed in his quest to move the senatorial district to another level. The victory at the appeal court marked a defining moment in the history of Delta North. It signals the beginning of new things for the Anioma people.

During the campaigns, the Distinguished Senator Ned Nwoko made it clear that his representation would present a paradigm shift from the status quo. He told the people of the senatorial district that the constituency projects accruing to the people of the area would get to them and all democratic dividends due to the zone would be distributed to the areas concerned.

In his campaign promises, he vowed to challenge the developmental issues in Anioma land. There are challenges in his constituency. Yes, from Oko communities in Oshimili south which is usually flooded almost annually to Ogwashi Uku in Aniocha south through to Ndokwa communities, Senator Ned Nwoko expressed optimism to combat the challenges in those areas.

Distinguished Senator Ned Nwoko has already set up modalities to empower members of his constituency for better living. Prior to becoming Senator for Delta North, Ned Nwoko has been involved in empowering his people within his constituency and others across the country. There are testimonies to this across the state and nation. Most of this he achieved through his Ned Nwoko Foundation.

It is worthy of note that no one ever asks for assistance from the Senator prior to his election that goes unattended to. He has awarded scholarships to many and empowered a number of others to live the good life. One thing very peculiar with him is that he is very much accommodating. Unlike some political office holders who are selectively available for the masses, Senator Ned Nwoko is always with the masses and close to the less privileged.

Anytime one visits his residence in Idumuje Ugboko in Aniocha North, there’s always a large crowd of people he attends to on a regular basis. Men, women and youths are always with him. He does not exude such aura of ego which repels people away from prominent personalities. He is one of the most accommodating public figure ever in Nigeria.

Now that election litigations are over, Senator Ned Nwoko will be focused to deliver on his electoral promise to his people. He won both at the tribunal and appeal court against his two opponents, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Barrister Ken Kanma of the Labour Party. The two courts dismissed the petitions and their appeals, insisting that they lacked merit and that they had no sufficient proof to upturn the electoral victory of Senator Ned Nwoko.

Periods of litigations are usually tough times for elected officers. This is because irrespective of their activities, there’s always fear lurking around until the case is trashed and dismissed. Now that the two cases have been trashed and dismissed and the two opponents silenced, there is now calmness and peace. Whatever fear might have been lurking anywhere has been permanently dispelled.

Now, Anioma people will see the goodness and human kindness in the Distinguished Senator Ned Nwoko. Many Anioma people will be empowered in various forms. Many constituents will be given jobs both at the federal and state levels. Constituency projects will be executed across the nine local government areas that make up Delta North senatorial district.  He has already set up different liaison committees to serve as his eyes who will meet with the people in the localities.

We are very much convinced without any iota of doubt that Distinguished Senator Prince Ned Nwoko will spread his senatorial benefits to members of his constituency across board.  He is dead ready to challenge the status quo and bring a paradigm shift to the existing narrative. He has the will-power, the connection, the wherewithal and the mind to uplift the living conditions of his people. He knows that his ascendance to the senate is not for self-aggrandizement but for the people of the senatorial district.

It is now the people of Delta North have got the right man for this project. Yes, they never made mistake voting for the Anioma Prince. What Anioma people need now is to exercise patient and be expectant because the Distinguished Senator is bent on putting smiles on the faces of his constituents and pull as many as possible from the bottom of the ladder of life.
