Barring any last minute postponement, the second edition of Delta’s prestigious Who Is Who compendium, 200 Most Outstanding Deltans, will be unveiled on Friday, August 29, 2025.
The event which will hold at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba, will be chaired by the pioneer military administrator of Abia State, Air Vice Marshal Frank Ajobena (rtd.), while the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, will be Special Guest of Honour.
Others dignitaries expected to grace the event include Ibusa-born ambassador plenipotentiary, Amb. Ignatius Olisemeka; the former Commandant of National Defence College, Abuja, Rear Admiral Patrick Agholor (rtd.), the Chairman, Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Barr. Chiedu Ebie, the Speaker, Delta Stat House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, and many other.
The compendium, straddling some 20 categories of human endeavours, acknowledges and celebrates the awe-inspiring accomplishments of distinguished Deltans.
The first edition debutted some four years with wide acceptance from the public.
