Marilyn Okowa Daramola, daughter of Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa and newly elected member of the Delta State House of Assembly representing Ika North-East has said she has always had the dream of becoming a legislator.

She unveiled this after collecting her certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC).

In her words, “As a young girl, I always had this dream of becoming a legislator. I believed I had what it takes to represent my people and their interests. Right from the age of 10, it was always a delight to share my dreams and aspirations with my friends.

“Yesterday, having received my certificate of return from INEC, I realized that after 23 years, this dream has finally become a reality. I am now officially the Honourable Member-elect of the Ika North East Constituency

“To God alone, I give all the praise”, she stated.
