A Facebook user, one Okowhake Eguono Moses, has shared photos of houses razed down by rampaging youths over the killing of a youth in Ughelli, the administrative headquarters of Ughelli North in Delta state.

Ughelli has been in the news for a period of time for the wrong reasons. Youths in the community have been on the neck of each other, killing and destroying each other over cult related activities.

In the post made by Eguono, he said one youth was killed last night. Following the confirmed death of the youth, irate community members besieged the family house of the assailant and set it ablaze. The houses were brought down last night, according to him.

He pleaded with the local government chairman, Godwn Adode, to wake up and rescue that community from the daredevil cult boys. The reports have been pouring in of killings and violent actions by youths of Ughelli town.
