OPEN LETTER OF GRATITUDE TO THE GOC/001 OF THE NIGER DELTA REGION, HIGH CHIEF GOVERNMENT EKPEMUKPOLO A.K.A TOMOPOLO ON JUNE 27, 2024 EPOCH-MAKING VISIT OF THE MAYOR OF URHOBOLAND TO THE KINGDOM OF GBARAMATU

By His Excellency Eshanakpe Israel a.k.a Akpodoro The Mayor of Urhoboland, members and leaders of The Youth Wing of Urhobo Progressive Union, UPU.

DEAR ‘001/GOC’ OF THE NIGER DELTA REGION, THE MANAGEMENT OF TANTITA SECURITY SERVICES NIGERIA LIMITED AND THE ENTIRE GBARAMATU KINGDOM

I wish to, on behalf of myself, my entourage, and the body of the youth leadership of the Urhobo nation whom I led on a courtesy visit to you at Gbaramatu Kingdom recently, express my gratitude for the warm reception you accorded us.

Akpodoro

Respectfully, I have found it very plausible to acknowledge, appreciate, and express my heartfelt gratitude to you and everyone linked to the success of that dialogue, the useful discussions we had that day, including the lavish reception, and entertainment in a weird hospitality that greeted our stay in your kingdom.

Sir, you made the entire kingdom stand still and agog for the Mayor of Urhoboland. It was weird to my person and every other person in my company that day. As you celebrated me, may the Heavens celebrate you.

Words are not enough to describe my joy and gratitude for the love you demonstrated, which is akin to that of a father to a son. I cannot thank you enough for the opportunity given me to bring my people before you on such an epoch-making visit, an event that almost metamorphosed into a carnival of sort.

I wish to state it clearly herein again, that there’s no leader like you in the entire Niger Delta region – peaceful, selfless, reticent, not hedonistic, not boastful, reserved, articulate, humble, lovely, full of smiles, good conscience, deeply understanding with no consideration for tribe, creed or colour, you possess a weird placid mien that no one ever exuded in the annals of men of your class in the mangrove region where God has chosen you to lead.

Your life defines the colour and taste of superlative leadership, which is the reason your followership is intimidating in population and uniqueness.

The most attractive weapon you possess is the finesse of your character. You are our best today, tomorrow, and in long years to come.

You led us into bilateral talks and subsequent agreements on the need for both Urhobo and Ijaw nations to strengthen the bond of brotherhood that binds the two nations. You gave us messages of hope back home, particularly for the youths not to relent in peace-building efforts and solidarity to the nation.

GOC, my people and I are very grateful for your kindness. That you are the father of the modern Niger Delta region is not in doubt. We only pray that God elongates your life to fulfil your potential and unlock the productive destinies of the youths of the Niger Delta region through empowerment and more empowerment of our teeming human capital. The responsibilities rest upon your shoulders because you are the father of the region.

You have awakened that the can-do spirit of an average citizen of the Niger Delta region in us, I mean, that regional solidarity, loyalty, and love that makes us who we are.

Sir, once again, I stand on all protocols to appreciate and show gratitude for all you have done before, now, and those things you will do in the future. Providence has made you the protector of our national patrimony, the protector of our region, the man who has earned us pride in the annals of our national history, and we remain grateful to you. Count on us every inch of your journey to greatness.

In the light of the above, this appreciation also goes to Chief Kestin Pondi Managing Director and Sir Godfrey Tare Pondi General Manager, Operations and Technical, Tantita Security Services NIG LTD.

My gratitude won’t be complete without appreciating you for being the pillar of support for the Administrator of Presidential Amnesty Programme, DR. DENNIS OTUARO. We all know the goodwill you invested into that work-in-progress for the Heavens. Thank you for being there for us all.

May God richly bless our ‘GOC’, Gbaramatu Kingdom, and the entire Tantita Security Services Nig LTD.

Thanks

Signed
His Excellency, Eshanakpe Israel a.k.a
The Mayor of Urhoboland

LONG LIVE THE ‘001/GOC
