Candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) for Oshimili south local government area of Delta State House of Assembly in the 2023 general election, Barrister Bridget Anyafulu, has congratulated the Asagba of Asaba, Obi (Prof) Chike Edozien on his 98th birthday anniversary.
Anyafulu in a statement on Thursday July 28, 2022, she personally signed described the royal father as a distinguished traditional ruler who through his academic background, has provided quality leadership not only to the people of Asaba, but to the entire nation.
Anyafulu who was the Commissioner for Humanitarian and Community Support, noted that the impactful and purposeful leadership of Edozien has attracted meaningful development to the state capital.
“Asagba truly deserves to be celebrated for attaining this age. At 98, he is healthy and very strong.
‘:My prayer for him today is that, he will live to see more years in sound health,” she stated
