The death of the Nigerian female Christian music artiste, Osinachi Nwachukwu, was a big shock to all. This is because it came so sudden and everyone was caught unawares.

Initial reports had claimed she died of throat cancer. But further investigations had shown that she died after series of beating and kicking by her husband which landed her in hospital for five days. Her husband hit her on the chest which left her on life support at the hospital.

Osinachi has been reportedly passing through hell and torment from the hands of her husband. It was reported that the husband controlled any invitation given to her to minister in any programme.

According to reports, he has been beating the woman but because of her reputation and obedience to the Bible injunction on marriage, she had borne it, for better for worst and she was dying in silence. Some of her songs were reported to be a product of her pains in the hands of her wicked husband.

The last attempt that brought about the death of Osinachi was that the man kicked her on her chest and she was on life support for five days, a development which led to her death. Now the man has been arrested and he is under the police custody.

Women are advised not to die in silence. They are advised to report issues in their homes to people who could help find solution to them. If she had opened up, she might not have died. It is better to live without marriage than dying inside marriage.

While the Bible does not support divorce in whatever form, there are grounds for separation, then issues are sorted out and reconciliations are made. But remaining in silence to the extent of being killed is not encouraged.
No woman should keep silence in abusive relationship.
