PAP: Dr. Otuaro’s financial prudence reason for attacks from reactionary elements – Mayor Akpodoro says

Mayor of Urhoboland, Eshanekpe Israel a.k.a. Akpodoro, has said that the attacks from reactionary elements against coordinator of presidential amnesty office, Dr. Dennis Otuaro, was a fallout of his prudential management of funds in the office.

According to the Mayor, who is the head of the Association of Family Mayoral Crown, AFMC, Dr. Otuaro’s prudent management of available resources to effectively run the office as against known norm of corruption is causing a ‘damaging bellyache’ to those who see themselves as ‘demigods’ in the affairs of the PAP.

He said: “gone were the days the management of the programme roll out drums and dolled out millions of naira to celebrate birthday for individuals undeservedly” saying as a technocrat, Otuaro knows the rudiments of productive management of any human organisation.

Akpodoro, in his reaction to what he described as a malicious call from “reactionaries who are lovers of slush funds” to sack Dr. Otuaro who is barely nine months in the saddle, said nothing could be more humiliating to that “bunch” than for a reformer like Dr. Otuaro to take his stance in doing right things and treating everyone under the programme equally.

The programme, according to Akpodoro, has suffered years of collective looting by the past managers of the programme and their collaborators who sang their praises while they benefitted from the slush funds at the detriment of public good.

The Mayor, who is also the President of the National Coalition of Niger Delta Ex-Agitators, NCNDE-A, noted that some persons positioned themselves in the programme to grandstand and collaboratively loot the Amnesty office with a willing Administrator but unfortunately, those forces found Dr. Otuaro impervious as he stands on the process of building a strong and reliable Amnesty Programme where everyone is treated equally.”

Recall that, a group, National Coalition of Strategic Governance, NCSG, had in a petition to President Bola Tinubu and National Security Adviser to the President, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, signed by its Publicity Secretary, Kola Mustafa, called for the suspension Dr. Otuaro for allegedly leaking confidential classified documents to his allies which was allegedly published on a Facebook page, relating to the 1st October 2010 alleged plan attempt on the life of the then President Goodluck Jonathan and others at the event of the independence day anniversary, a petition the Mayor said is good only for trash can.

Describing the group as a bunch of faceless individuals who are making “vainful efforts at disparaging the Amnesty boss” for reason of blackmail to stampede him into heeding the demands of the sponsors of the libelous petition saying, “we know the sponsor of the lies from the pit of hell against Dr. Otuaro.

He said: “It is borne out of envy, jealousy and criminal concupiscience against High Chief Government Ekpemukpolo a.k.a Tomopolo the ‘GOC.’ and his Tantita Security Services Nig Ltd, TSSNL through which he has chased the erstwhile untouchables out the business of oil theft in the Niger Delta creeks.

“They would stop at nothing to attack the integrity of whoever is linked with Tompolo “whose shoes, the forces of retrogression cannot unlace in ten lifetimes.”

The Mustafa group also alleged that billions of naira were expended in bribe money that aided his appointment into the office of Administrator, a development Akpodoro said it’s disgraceful for a petitioner to mention without an iota of proof saying such libel causes trigger litigation but for the fact that the group is “cowardly faceless” with the sponsor hiding like a cat.

He called on President Tinubu to discoubtenance such “puerile and badly concocted self-serving malicious petition tendeciously written by its author to drive home his greedy demands from the Administrator.”

Mallam Ribadu, according to the Mayor, is vast in security matters to discern the inherent evils in the mind of the acclaimed author of the petition and trash it immediately, noting that the only thing represented by the letter is greed and avarice.

“No amount of subterfuge, blackmail, criminal attacks can stop Dr. Otuaro from repositioning the PAP and turning it into both regional and national pride.

“We know that the attackers are licking their wounds from the bloody nose TSSL is giving oil thieves in the Nigerian waters and soon oil theft will be exterminated from both upstream and downstream Nigerian Petroleum industry.”

Mayor Akpodoro called on all ex-Agitators to solidly queue behind Dr. Otuaro to deliver life changing policies and programmes in the intervention agency.
