BY AUSTIN OYIBODE, BENIN CITY

Pastor William Kumuyi, the convener of the Global Crusade with kumuyi (GCK) on Thursday said that the ongoing global crusade in Benin City, the Edo state capital will purge out regrets, pain and sorrow from the lives of all who participated in the crusade both at the Alpha location and all receiving centres across the world.

Speaking on the topic “Loose Him and Let Him Go” which is also the theme of the global crusade, the international evangelist said every challenge and sorrow in the lives of the people prior to the crusade will be replaced with joy and gladness.

In his usual charismatic style, he stirred up the hearts of the people who gathered from all parts of Edo state and those connected globally, assuring that sorrow will disappear and that everything blocking their ways to progress will be demolished by the power of God.

“Everything will turn around in your life. I look at your situation and declare everything has become new in your life. Old sorrow, pain, regrets and torments will be turned to blessings in your life”, Pastor Kumuyi declared as he ministered live to the cheering audience.

He said sickness, pain and diseases are not of God, insisting that Christians should not accept and live by every situation, assuming it is the will of God for them. Pastor Kumuyi disagreed with such assumption from Christians.

He said God is interested in the welfare of all people, he heals all that are oppressed by the devil, adding that God is father to all classes of people irrespective of their social status, ethnicity and background.

Pastor Kumuyi noted: “Healing is good. Sickness is bad. God is good to everyone. He is not partial neither does he discriminate against anyone that looks up to him. He is good at all times and good to all people. But we should know that there is a devil that steals and destroys good things from people.”

He, however, assured the people that God has power to break the bonds of the devil and set the captive free from the yokes of the enemy of their souls. He added that sickness in people’s body is captivity from the devil.

Pastor Kumuyi, whose global ministry has touched millions of lives worldwide, noted that every sickness in the lives of participants of the crusade both online and offline, will be broken and made free.

In the course of delivering the sermon whose leading text was taken from John chapter 11 verses 41 to 44, he identified certain hindrances which must of necessity be removed to allow God access to work in their lives.

He identified corruption, love of the flesh, love of pornography, love of the world, love of self and other defilements that attract God’s displeasure to man as hindrances which be removed through repentance.

He explained that man must be cleansed from all these social and moral evils for God to work miracles and wonders in their lives.
