On Saturday, the city of Asaba witnessed a vibrant and faith-filled spectacle as youths of Deeper Life Bible Church took to the streets in a coordinated publicity walk ahead of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK).
The energetic procession commenced at Abraka Junction and moved through Nnebisi Road to Okpanam Road, transforming major parts of the city into corridors of praise, music, and evangelistic outreach.
With banners raised high and voices lifted in songs of worship, the youths created an atmosphere that was both celebratory and spiritually charged. Their objective was clear: to invite the people of Asaba to the Global Crusade with Kumuyi scheduled to hold from March 25 to 29.
A City Stirred by Praise
Residents and business owners along the route paused to observe the colorful procession. The youths sang gospel choruses, danced with enthusiasm, and shared information about the upcoming crusade. Their coordinated movement demonstrated unity of purpose and commitment to spreading the message of Christ.
Beyond the music and choreography, the walk carried a strategic evangelistic focus. It served as a grassroots mobilization effort, bringing awareness of the crusade directly to the people in marketplaces, roadside shops, and residential areas.
The initiative underscored the active role young believers are playing in advancing the church’s outreach mission.
Spotlight on GCK and Youth Impact Academy
The Global Crusade with Kumuyi, convened by the General Superintendent of the church, William Folorunso Kumuyi, is known for its emphasis on salvation, healing, and spiritual revival. This edition promises several power-packed sessions aimed at transforming lives across all age groups.
Of particular interest to young people is the Youth Impact Academy scheduled for March 28. This specialized session will provide a platform where Pastor Kumuyi will address youths directly, focusing on leadership, character development, spiritual growth, and purposeful living in a rapidly changing world.
The Saturday walk therefore served a dual purpose: promoting the main crusade sessions and drawing attention to the Youth Impact Academy. The vigorous publicity demonstrated the youths’ excitement and anticipation for what they believe will be a life-transforming encounter.
Youthful Zeal in Action
The event reflected more than organizational planning; it revealed a generation passionate about faith expression in public spaces. The participants exemplified evangelistic boldness, taking the gospel beyond church walls and into the heart of the city.
Their presence on the streets of Asaba sent a clear message: young believers are not passive observers in the mission of the church; they are active ambassadors.
Through music, movement, and direct engagement, they invited the city to experience the hope and transformation associated with the Global Crusade with Kumuyi.
A Call to the People of Asaba
Now, the invitation stands before every resident of Asaba. The songs have been sung. The streets have been walked. The message has been proclaimed.
Do not let this moment pass you by.
From March 25 to 29, make a deliberate decision to attend the Global Crusade with Kumuyi. Come expectant. Come believing. Come ready for renewal. And on March 28, every young person should seize the opportunity to be part of the Youth Impact Academy, a session designed to ignite vision, purpose, and spiritual strength.
This is more than an event; it is a divine appointment. As the youths have passionately carried the message across Abraka Junction and Okpanam Road, now it is your turn to respond.
Asaba, your moment has come. Step out. Show up. Encounter God.
