Finally, this is what Tinubu should do with Nnamdi Kanu for peace in South east

By Gladys Ekwu

Since the news  of Nnamdi Kanu  arrest by the federal government through   Department of Security Service  (DSS), Nigeria and International Police (INTERPOL) broke out, there have been speculations that the Biafran leader might be killed.

Emerald News gathered that while some people said that his arrest will definitely lead to the end of Biafra struggle, others were of the opinion that there are many Biafran boys that will be ready to take over from him.

Mr. Mike Uwabunkeonye  told Emerald News that, he is sure that Nnamdi Kanu will be set free after the court verdict but expressed fear that they might kill him the way MKO Abiola was killed.

Mr. Uwabunkeonye warned the federal government not to display any fowl play over Kanu, adding that if anything happens to him, a terrific war will break out of the country.

Also, Elder Romanus Ibe in his opinion faulted the arrest of the Biafra leader, stating that the allegation of Kanu being in possession of fire arms were calculated plan by the Federation Government to sentence him to death.

Elder Ibe noted that federal government was supposed to first arrest wicked Boko Haram leaders and killer Fulani Herdsmen who slaughter innocent Nigerians like cows instead of Kanu who was only agitating for a state creation.

Mrs. Margret Ukpa as well as others who responded to Emerald News said they were beginning to sense danger as they express fear of loosing Nnamdi Kanu if care is not taken.

They warned the government not to do anything funny concerning him adding that if our leaders have not subjected their people to abject poverty and marginalization, there will be no likes of Nnamdi Kanu, Sunday Igbogho and others whose aim of crusade was to be free from perpetual suffering in Nigeria.

According to them, while Kanu is waiting to appear in court come July 26, they prayed that God will protect him as he has been remanded in DSS cell.
