A young Nigerian lady was, on Tuesday, sighted at Maitama Abuja with a placard tied to her neck where it is written “Please, I need a job. B.sc International Relations. Ebhodaghe Victoria.”
She must have searched for job and got tired. Now she decided to do the search in an unthinkable way. This shows the state of Nigeria. Graduates are being churned out of Nigerian universities every year but no job for them.
Many who commented on Abiyamo’s Facebook page where it was posted said she is a good lady for not taken to prostitution to feed herself and perhaps some dependants.
Others say she may get some luck as some good Nigerians will have mercy on her and give her a job. Government officials can also run into her and settle her case.
I join those who commend her for not taking to prostitution in the city of Abuja. Before she came up with this, she must have carried her CV to different places and all to no avail. May luck smile at her today.
