Senator Ede Dafinone, who represents Delta Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, joined other dignitaries and top security officials on Monday, October 28, 2025, to celebrate the promotion of Assistant Inspector-General (AIG) Mohammed Dankwara to the rank of Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG). The official decoration ceremony, according to our correspondent, highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership within the Nigeria Police Force.
In his congratulatory message, Senator Dafinone lauded DIG Dankwara for his professionalism, discipline, and unwavering commitment to national service. He described the promotion as a well-deserved recognition of Dankwara’s years of outstanding performance and contributions to the security and stability of the nation.
