Senator Ned Nwoko’s defection from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) has caused significant political ripples in Delta North PDP, an area where Nwoko has historically held considerable influence over the years.

The fear of what will befall the party also made Delta North elected and appointed officials to hurriedly pass a confidence vote in the governor while making futile effort to recall a performing Senator that has regional, national and global recognition more than them.
