One Yemi Yusuf who commented on a post made by Abiyamo on Facebook has alleged that all the workers at NIMC office in Ikoyi, Lagos state are coasting home with huge money from people registering for the NIN
In the post he made, he alleged that all the workers down to the security details at the gates are the people causing the trouble.
The post where the comment appeared was about a lady who complained of people falling down and dying as her mum office has been shut down.
She said it was because of the rush for NIN enrolment that led to increase in COVID-19 and the eventual death.

“To register NIN you have to know someone All the workers at the NIN office in ikoyi down to the security details at the gates are the people causing this mayhem.
“Because of their selfish and greedy love for money, I went there several times, till I learned that the chief security officer, and all ten police men, collect 20k for National identity card each and 2k for you to enter the gate.
“Most people who don’t have money are sleeping at the gate for days and their boss in Ikoyi, does not care. His other workers are demi gods and millionaires from the money people have paid. And they still behave like they are doing u a favor.”
The issue of NIN is causing trouble for many Nigerians. In all the offices of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), there is always crowd milling around the gate.
