Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) candidates have complained of the instability of JAMB results this year.
A section of the examination candidates in Asaba told Emerald News that irrespective of the electronic way the exam was conducted as well as the marking, there are still irregularities in the scores.
One of the candidates, Master Joshua Nda said that he scored 201 the first time he checked his result in the internet, by the time he checked the second time to print the result, he saw 193 as his score.
Also, Miss Princess Meche told this meduim that her father used his phone to check her result adding that by the time she went to a cyber cafe to print the result, she scored 180 as against 218 she earlier saw through her father’s phone.
Also, Master Fred Uzoh narrated that the result he saw the first time he checked his result was not the result he saw the second time.
‘ I wrote my JAMB examination at the office in Asaba, the result came out after few days. I checked the result at a nearby cyber cafe and I scored 250, by the time my father went to print the result at the same cyber cafe, my score went down to 211’, he said.
Emerald News gathered that a student, Master Promise Arinze, an SS 3 student who also wrote the JAMB examination said that many students were narrating to one another in the school how they were getting different results from the initial ones they earlier got.
This medium gathered that the candidates were insinuating that their results were being sold to others who did not score well in the examination.
