Food items have gradually skyrocketed to the extent that average people find it impossible to feed well in Nigeria.
Recently, a civil servant residing in Asaba, Delta State, Mr. Kester Ewere, has threatened to marry another wife who will be helping in the market and as well preparing food for him
Reports say Mr. Ewere went to his wife’s pastor to report her saying he has given her money to go to the market for three consecutive times but she turned it down, claiming that the money was not enough to buy food items.
This medium gathered that the behaviour of his wife towards going to the market has compelled him to be the one shopping for food items for the family.
According to our source, the man said that the development would no longer be condoned by him as he said he was searching for a wife who will be shopping and cooking for him.
Emerald News gathered that when his wife’s pastor advised the woman to sit up with her responsibility as a wife and mother, Mrs. Ewere revealed to the pastor that she stopped going to the market because the money her husband usually gives her was not always enough to buy a bucket of garri not to talk of other food items.
Our source said that Mrs. Ewere complained bitterly that whenever her husband gives her money to go to the market, she would be going round the whole market with confusion of how to manage the meagre cash.
An eye witness said that the woman observed that if her husband goes to the market, he would bring out enough money while he gives her little whenever she goes to the market.
Nevertheless, her pastor counselled both of them to use wisdom to run the affairs of their home well.
