A mother of two, Mrs. Endurance Obayando, has thrown up a lavish thanksgiving for surviving a fatal accident while going for a marriage ceremony at Abraka, Ethiope East local government area of Delta state.

Speaking shortly after the thanksgiving held at Bishop Agori-Iwe Memorial Angelican Church, otherwise known as BAMACO, Ughelli, the administrative headquarters of Ughelli North local government area, Mrs. Obayando said she was very happy as God saved her from untimely death.

She said: “I am very happy because God saved me from death. I was going for a marriage ceremony at Abraka and I had an accident; very fatal accident but the Lord saved my life.

Although nobody died in the fatal accident, the health practitioner hinted: “Nobody died, only just injury. I broke my left arm”, saying that she was bedridden for three months.

Continuing she said: “The very day that the accident happened, the doctor said madam, don’t shake yourself because you broke your hand.

“But I replied him that the God who prophesied that the dry bones will rise again and they did will do the same for me

“In the three months that I stayed at home, I passed through pains. I am that type that does not really stay at home or sit down in one place.

“The period was challenging. It is something that someone should not experience because after the accident, many things shutdown”, she narrated.

She tasked believers to put their hope in God as there was nothing God cannot do, adding, “Know the God you serve”.

The eldest daughter, Miss Godsmelody Igbunu Oghenevo, who could not hide her joy said: “My mother had an accident which almost claimed her life. We have to thank God for being able to survive the accident.

“So, I appreciate God for his goodness and mercies towards her life. The period she was down, if you see my mother, you will shed tears. In anything you are doing, always appreciate God.

“My mother is my world, my life. I don’t think I will be able to stand without her. I love her so much. I thank God for saving her life”
