This Nigerian governor is a big thief in government house

I made a comment on a post by a friend. And I said “No governor or president should be praised for anything they do because it is not their private money they are using. And I owe no apology for that.

“Any governor that misbehaves should be heavily criticised. They were sent to office to represent the people because everybody cannot be there. The resources in government belong to everybody in the state, not for PDP nor APC.

“Every Nigerian should have EQUAL access to the wealth of the state. A governor cannot be collecting N25 to N30m monthly and the other citizen is dying of hunger. Such a governor should be pushed away from office. Such is a thief, an armed robber.

He is a looter and should be jailed. It is important we know that we are all equal stakeholders in the affairs of the nation. No one is more important than the other. The nation belongs to all of us. We are all Nigerians. No one should have a higher share of the national cake than the other.

Anybody in elective office, namely president, governor, senator, Reps member, state lawmaker, are all representatives of the people. They did not get there on their own effort but a collective decision of the people in their different constituencies.

Whatever money is appropriated for that area belongs to the people who voted for such a person. If he diverts the money, such a one is a thief, a robber and should be sent from office by whatever means legally possible.

A governor is representing the people of the state. He was voted to power by the people. Many of them stood in the sun, trekked long distance to vote and after voting, a governor is going home with N25m, N30m, N35m monthly and so much people have no food to eat. Such a governor should be escorted from that government house and dumped in his father’s house.

He is a misfit, a misnomer, an aberrant, a deviant, he is only after himself. He has no interest of his people at heart. If he employs only his own people, he is a nepotist, a tribalist and not a detribalised person. We must set things straight. Even ordinary N30K for civil servants, they are refusing to pay and they are going home with heavy Ghana Must Go monthly. They are thieves and robbers.

A House of Reps member was beaten in the North for bad leadership. Time is coming for that everywhere. I remember a trending video from Legit.ng where a youth said all Nigerian leaders should be buried alive and a new generation should rise up. That young man was applauded by many for such statement.

Nigerian governors and all elected officials must wake up and realise that the office they are holding is in trust for the people and not for themselves. Until they realise this, the crisis may never subside. They are actually the problem of Nigeria. Check it out!!!
