By Gladys Ekwu

An Abuja based widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Tekoh, has slumped and gave up the ghost after she worked for ten months with out receiving salary.

An eye witness told Emerald News that Mrs. Tekoh borrowed the sum of eight hundred thousand (N800,000) naira from a money lender to clinch a government work at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Our source said that before she died, Mrs. Tekoh complained bitterly to her family and friends that since she paid the huge sum of money to get her job in December 2020, that she has not received any salary.

Our source told this meduim that she has also complained that the  money lender was on her neck since ten months she has not made an attempt of paying him.

According to our source, the widow who has five children to take care of as she did not have any helper went and borrowed the money to get the job.

Our source said that she became hopeless when her office management  kept telling her and her other colleagues that they should wait until they include their names in the office payroll.

This medium gathered that after she had received much pressure from her money lender, she developed high blood pressure and gradually becoming pale.

Our source also said that the woman, who could not feed herself and her children not to talk of taking care of her medical bills, slumped in her house last week and kicked the bucket.
