While some marriages are hitting the rock as a result of poor financial management, some glow as a government worker, Mrs. Patience Ugbana willingly and happily handed her ATM card over to her husband.
Emerald News gathered that Mrs. Ugbana who searched for employment for almost twelve years after her graduation from the university was happy as she finally clinched a job appointment with a Federal Government’s establishment last year September.
Our source said that the woman handed over her ATM card to her husband since she started receiving her salary early this year January.
She posited that her husband deserves to be honoured.
According to our source, the woman said that her husband took absolute care of her and her children when she was a full time house wife.
This meduim learnt that Mrs. Ugbana was appreciative of her husband whom she described as a lovely and a responsible husband and father.
She said that her husband never insulted her for once for not adding any financial value to the family, adding that, instead, he usually gave her encouraging words which gave her hope.
Our source noted that Mrs. Ugbana’ s husband declined holding his wife’s ATM but with his wife’s explanations and conviction, he obliged.
According to an eye witness, the woman told her husband that she dedicated her work to him because her husband took care of her parents without grudges and complaint.
Emerald News gathered that Mrs. Ugbana would always seek approval from her husband before she would withdraw money from her bank account.
Our source noted that her husband was an average business man whom his wife confirmed that he has not abused the privilege of being in possession of her ATM card.
