It might interest you to know that some girls who are ardent Roman Catholic Church members have missed their right partners because they never wanted to marry a man from another denomination.

Some of them married very late as a result of the development.

Miss Nkem Ekemmadu is one of them who does not want her devout christian parents to stop taking Holy Communion in their church.

She narrated to Emerald News her ordeal over the years as she was turning down the marriage proposals from suitors who were members of Anglican and Pentecostal Churches.

Emerald News gathered that after her long waiting to marry a husband from the same denomination with her, she bitterly said that she finally married a husband who does not have the same faith with her at the age of 46 years.

Miss Ekemmadu revealed to this meduim that she was not happy seeing her younger siblings settling down with their husbands while she the first child remains single and searching.

According to her, her condition of waiting for her fellow Roman Catholic member to marry her did not really go down well with her parents, only that they did not have any option than to maintain their christian faith.

She said that she was happy to settle down this year with a husband from another Church denomination.

Miss Ekemmadu however advised girls not to allow their christian faith to stop them from accepting the will of God for them in terms of marriage.

According to her, it is good for them to marry their church members, but they should not hesitate to marry their heart desires who come from other denomination to avoid missing their partners or marrying very late like her.

She told Emerald News that suitors started coming to her at the age of 18 but none of them had the same faith with her.

Miss Ekemmadu noted that this year she clocked 46, her parents succumbed and accepted her husband though he is not from their church.

She also narrated how her cousin sister made such mistake and later married an irresponsible man who usually uses her as a punching bag.

She prayed that God will have mercy on her and bless her with children immediately.
