Two Pakistani businessmen and two Nigerians have been arrested on Sunday, 6 November, by National Drug Law Enforcement (NDLEA) operatives, for drug trafficking.
As reported by Daily Post, In a statement signed by NDLEA director, Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, the agency said that the Pakistani, Asif Mohammed and Hussain Naveed, were caught at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, with eight kilograms of cocaine concealed in a public address system, as they were attempting to board a plane.
“The Nigerians on the other hand, a blind man, Bukar Haruna, and his son Saka Haruna, were arrested along the Malumfashi-Zaria road in Katsina State for possessing 20.5kg of cannanbis and 10 grams of exon-5 while heading to Niger Republic,” he explained.
