A video is currently trending on the social media of supposed officials of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) struggling with a COVID-19 positive patient in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi state.
The video shows the officials who were not wearing personal protective equipment struggling to push the young man into a waiting bus. But the guy appears stronger than them and unwilling to cooperate with them.
He had earlier been bundled inside the bus but he later burst his way out of the bus, leading to struggle for supremacy between the supposed officials and the coronavirus patient. The video is circulating in all social media platforms, including twitter, whatsapp.
The video shows the young fighting to be allowed to go his way but the officials are resorting to using rope to tie him. But he seems stronger than the four men. The men from all indications never appear as NCDC officials, because their dressing does not take them to be.
But if they are, they all need to be quarantined and taken to isolation for treatment because they have all contracted the virus from the guy. They also need to be sanctioned for coming to pick up a COVID-19 patient without their PPEs.
