Vice President Yemi Osibanjo has declared to run for the president of Nigeria in the 2023 general elections. There had been rumours for a while over his readiness to contest the election.

Some had said because his former boss, Ahmed Bola Tinubu is contesting, he might give up his ambition. But this morning, he has officially declared, presenting himself for the race. He made series of promises to Nigerians.
