Donald James Moen, one of the leading Christian singers in the world ministered in songs on Thursday night at the just started Deeper Life Bible Church crusade holding in Enugu, one of the major cities in Eastern Nigeria.
Born on June 29, 1950, the American singer took everyone by surprise when he came up with Ibo song. Perhaps, he took the decision to sing the song because where the crusade is holding is an Igbo speaking state in Nigeria.
The 71-year-old song writer who grew up in Mineapolis, Minnesota in United States of America, thrilled the global audience when he sang the Ibo song and the Ibo people and infact the global audience was seen dancing and singing along with him.
It was a beautiful sight to behold Don Moen who married Lee Szuchna in 1973 playing the lyrics of the music along with the tone of the Igbo music.
Don Moen held the audience spell bound as the more than 18 minutes music turned from Ibo to English. Don Moen ministered from the United States to the global audience.
The Enugu crusade is the fourth in the series of the crusade of Pastor William Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry worldwide. The crusade is pulling crowd and participants from almost all countries of the world.
One of the special features which is adding colours to the event is the ministration of choristers from different countries of the world. Choristers from China, India, Israel, Germany, Egypt, and French speaking countries have featured in the crusade.
With the crusade, Pastor Kumuyi has made a big leap into the world map where he unites the world, thus uniting languages and tongues and making Christians feel the deep presence of God.
The crusade has made Pastor Kumuyi the first international Christian leader who has united Christians globally in a fora where Christians interact with a global audience.
The crusade which started on Thursday, August 26 is expected to end on August 31, 2021. Many people have received diverse miracles with great testimonies around the world from the crusades of Pastor Kumuyi.
