The Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 12, Audu Adamu Madaki, has donated two cows to his officers and men working in the zonal headquarters in Bauchi.
Making the donation to the personnel, AIG Madaki informed that it was aimed to boost the morale of personnel and enhance their welfare, adding that, “This season is the best time to share the love with one another through the exchange of goodwill and gifts.”
A release made available to DAILY POST by the Zonal Public Relations Officer (ZPRO), Zone 12, SP Thomas Goni, stated that Madaki described Christmas as an important day for Christian faithful around the world, saying that the donation of the cows for personnel could be likened to the presentation of gifts to infant Jesus by the three wise men
Meanwhile, the AIG urged the personnel to extend his kind gesture to the underprivileged, such as civilian staff and widows, enjoining officers and communities around to reflect on the significance of the season with a view to committing to these virtues for the benefit of the zone.
