What Anioma people should expect from Senator Ned Nwoko in 2024 – Dr. Michael Nwoko reveals

Dr. Michael Nwoko, a Senior Special Assistant on Health Monitoring to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta state has said that the Anioma people in Delta state have much to expect from Senator Ned Nwoko representing Delta North in the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In a new year message to Emerald News, Dr. Michael Nwoko, who is also the Chief of Staff to the Distinguished Senator, revealed that with the unprecedented achievements of the Senator within six months of being in the red chamber, the people of Delta North are in for good.

He said Senator Ned Nwoko has proved himself as one of the most outstanding Senators in the present National Assembly, drawing from the bills he has sponsored, motions he has moved and contributions he has made on the floor of the senate.

Dr. Michael Nwoko who is popularly called the political Oshobe by friends and associates, noted that in 2024, the people of Delta North will have much to gain from Senator Ned Nwoko who is poised to ensure the needs of his constituents take the front burner in the National Assembly.

He said Senator Nwoko is deeply committed to the development and upliftment of Anioma people and their communities. He said as the senate reconvenes in 2024 after the new year festivities, Ned Nwoko will continue to strive to bring positive changes to Anioma land and his efforts will escalate.

According to him: “One of the primary expectations from Senator Nwoko in 2024 is his continued focus on education, health, infrastructure, security and socio-economic wellbeing of Anioma people and Nigerians at large using the instrument of the legislature and through effective collaboration with the executive arm of Government.

“Anioma people anticipate further investment in education, including scholarships, infrastructure development, and expansion of educational opportunities. Education is seen as a key tool for empowerment and development, and Senator Nwoko has consistently recognized this fact. Hence, it is expected that he will continue to prioritize education and make it accessible to as many Anioma youths as possible.”

Dr. Michael Nwoko having worked with the Distinguished Senator for manybyears believes that Senator Nwoko has the wherewithal, the connection, and the political will to attract needed infrastructural development to Anioma land.

He said as the senate reconvenes, the improvement of road networks, electricity supply, water distribution, and healthcare facilities will be the significant areas that Senator Ned Nwoko will give priority attention in Anioma land.

He noted that Ned Nwoko’s experience as a successful businessman can be leveraged upon to attract investments and collaborations for infrastructural improvement to boost living conditions as well as creat jobs for Anioma people.

He said by focusing on these areas, Senator Ned Nwoko will contribute significantly to the socio-economic development of Anioma communities and enhance the quality of life for the inhabitants of these communities.

He added that Anioma people should expect Senator Ned Nwoko to continue his efforts in promoting tourism and cultural heritage. According to him: “Anioma has a rich cultural history, and there is immense potential for tourism development.

“Anioma people should anticipate that Distinguished Senator Ned Nwoko will remain committed to the overall well-being of Anioma communities. His passion for environmental conservation and preservation is well-known, and it is expected that he will continue advocating for sustainable development and environmental protection in line with global dynamics and ultimately enhance a safe/healthy environment and ultimately create jobs for the people.

This he said, “is particularly important in the face of increasing environmental and ecological challenges, such as erosion and deforestation, which impact the lives and livelihoods of Anioma people.

“Senator Ned Nwoko’s track record, dedication, and commitment to the welfare of Anioma people makes him a beacon of hope. By focusing on education, infrastructure development, tourism, security and environmental conservation by effective collaboration with the executive arm of government, Senator Ned Nwoko has the potential to bring about transformative changes that will uplift Anioma communities and improve their quality of life.”

Dr. Michael Nwoko revealed that despite challenges, the Anioma people can anticipate a year of opportunities encompassing various aspects of their socio-economic and political landscape.

He said the Anioma region will experience continued efforts towards infrastructural development, educational advancements, and increased community engagement.

He ssid infrastructure is a key focal point for many regions, and Anioma is no exception, adding that residents can expect ongoing initiatives aimed at improving roads, healthcare facilities, and public utilities.

These endeavors, he noted, will enhance the overall quality of life for the community, fostering economic growth and social well-being.

Though he agreed that the year holds promise, he also said challenges may arise, which will necessitate a collective effort from the Anioma people to nip them in the bud.

He said environmental concerns, security issues, and health inequity are potential hurdles, he said community resilience and collaboration will be crucial in overcoming these challenges and ensuring the overall well-being of the Anioma populace.
