The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 57-year-old man for allegedly stabbing his 40-year-old wife to death.
The incident allegedly resulted from a disagreement with the wife over a door.
The command said in a statement by Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Suleiman Nguroje, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). “The suspect, Muhammed Alfa, a resident of Lande B Village, Gombi Local Government Area, stabbed his wife, Hamsatu Muhammad, with a knife after a little argument.”
The police further explained in the statement that the wife had earlier separated from the man and relocated to a different house.
