The Ubiomor Campaign Organization (UCO) wishes to inform the general public, people of Delta state, and the members of the PDP in particular that Engr. Ediri R. IDIMI (UBIOMOR) has stepped down his 2023 Delta governorship ambition and declared support for Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi for the 2023 Delta state gubernatorial race.

This decision was reached after wide consultations at home and abroad with stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party, leaders of communities within Delta state, youth leaders, socio-cultural groups, religious leaders in Delta state, investors, industrialists, business men, captains of different industries and different interests groups.

We recalled that the campaign of Engr. Ediri R. IDIMI (UBIOMOR) has been based on industrial development of Delta state. The choice of Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi is informed by the fact that among the aspirants for the Delta state governorship race, his profile stands out as someone with the right qualifications, extensive private sector experience and government experiences as an ex-minister of education to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Most importantly, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi is an investor and industrialist with investments spread around Delta state, Nigeria and overseas. He is someone with no criminal records.

His contacts and networks within and outside Nigeria can be leveraged upon to attract investments and projects to Delta state, when he becomes hovernor. Without doubt, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi has the capacity to lead the Delta state government on industrial development come 2023, if elected into office.

Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi and Engr. Ediri R. IDIMI (UBIOMOR) share same ideas with respect to Industrial development of Delta. Thus, the need for both parties to come together with a goal to set up the government of Delta state industrial development come 2023, if elected by the good people of Delta state.

The first principle of the Delta state industrial development is to design Delta Industrial Development Master Plan (DIDMP).

The overall goal of the Delta Industrial Development is to create the right policies, environment and develop the infrastructure needed to attract trade and investment to Delta state.

This will lead to creating job opportunities for the youths of the state, improving quality education, standard healthcare system, improved security, beautiful and clean environment, peace and secured communities, creative art and sport development.

Our target is to make Delta state not only a center of attraction for oil and gas investments but also the center of manufacturing in Africa.

With this decision, Ubiomor Campaign Organization has jettisoned the plan to obtain the PDP governorship expression of interest and application forms.

We hereby wish to appeal to all the supporters of Engr. Ediri R. IDIMI to give their full supports to Hon. Kenneth Gbagi for Delta state governorship position.

We also want to urge those contesting under the platform of PDP to consider stepping down for Hon. Kenneth Gbagi so that a consensus that would result into a stronger and united party front can be built. The Gbagi Government of Delta Industrial Development (GGDID) is coming to make Delta State Great. Your supports are needed as it is together, we can make Delta State great.

Signed by:
Ediri R. IDIMI (UBIOMOR).
For: Ubiomor Campaign Organization.
