Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Paul Enenche has warned Nigerians against voting for expired and retired candidates.

With just 8 days left to the presidential election, Enenche has called on Nigerians to choose wisely.

Speaking with journalists in Makurdi, the clergyman, who urged Nigerians to vote for the right candidate in the upcoming elections, said 2023 is a time to depart from the wickedness that bedevilled the country.

He said: “[The] 2023 election is an opportunity to change the situation of this country; it’s a time to depart from the wickedness that bedevilled our nation for the past eight years.

“2023 is a time to choose if we want banditry, kidnapping, terrorism, underdevelopment, and nepotism to continue or if we want a total departure.

“When you see the presidential candidates, it’s very clear that we are having choices between people with issues that we know and people with a record that are clean and untainted. It’s a choice between corruption and incorruption, light and darkness, progress and retrogression.”

The clergyman further stated: “If we choose the old order, choose expired and retired people who should be resting, it means we are ready to continue in adversity and calamity. But if we choose people with proven results, credibility, and integrity, it means we have the opportunity to change things.”

Enenche urged Nigerians to educate their family members in the village on how to vote for the right candidate.

“So, I want everybody to rise up and ensure you get your PVCs and inform your family in the village, tell them who to vote, how to vote, show them the logo to vote for a change in our nation in this season,” he added.
